4.0.1 final - bug report (English)

I installed version 4.0.1 and found this bug in Windows 10 (last release, no insider preview):

STR:
- install version 4.0.1 and be sure that TV-Browser does run
- be sure to use a GERMAN keyboard
- be sure to use French as language in Windows 10
- open a text file (in my tests using Notepad2 or Thunderbird)
- press the accent key ( ´ or ` ) and then "e" or "a"
-> the accented letter is not put in the text file (you only get "e" or "a" instead of "é", "è","á" or "à")
- exit TV-Browser 4.0.1
- go back to the text file and try again, now accented letters works again: é è á à

Note: only happens when TV-Browser 4.0.1 is running, NOT when TV-Browser 4 is running, so apparently new introduced bug!

Thx

Stephaen

Try deactivating the global shortcuts in the tray settings.

Yeah, works if I disable "System wide key shortcuts enabled" in Tray settings. It's however a new setting and a new bug, this shouldn't avoid using the accent keys on German keyboard in 3rd party apps...

There is nothing I can do about, the gloabl shortcuts are provided by a 3rd party library. And it's working with German language and keyboard.

Then please tell the 3rd party library developers that their code is buggy. It's NOT working with French language and German keyboard.

Well that might be the case, but I cannot test it, since I don't speak French. You can disable the global shortcuts and that's it.
