Channel icons

Hi,

Where should I put channel icons on local drive and/or adjust some set up file to read it from web page??? That is a great feature, but cant make it work. I found the way how to manually assign icon for each channel, but this big and long work to set up on PC.

There is no easier way to set the icons than to do it separately for every channel. You could enter the values in the settings file but then you need to know the channel ids internally used by TV-Browser.

The channnels I try to add icons to are the ones I uploaded myself to web server. Does that mean that TVBrowser would use some other IDs than the one I gave in "groupname"_channellist_txt file? I would imagine it should be possible to track assigned ID somehow while browsing through files in TVData directory. I even find icons_myfirstgroup directory there. I tried to put gif file named exactly as channel name in channel list, but it didn't work .

Ok, you want to add channel icons for your channels, that is different.
You can upload the channel icons to the server and then you simply have to add the icon URL to the GROUPID_channellist.txt.

The format for the GROUPID_channellist.txt is:

country;timezone;channel ID;channel name;copyright;channel url;icon url;channel category

If you don't need a value you can leave the entry empty only the number of semicolons until the icon value have to be correct.
